Prior to a new book release – date yet unknown – I have opened another website on Bookbub. That site is almost solely dedicated to book promotion. If interested, you can find me there: https://www.marydealbooks.com.

As for the new book, my publisher accepted it mid June. I have yet to receive the cover art and book block to edit. When edits are completed and cover art is available, you can find it here or on the new site.

And another note: I have been blocked on Facebook since May 11th and have no idea why. On May 15th, I found a Facebook post on Google saying they were having site problems and perhaps some 500K users were affected. So I waited for a while to see how long it would take before I could get back in. I kept getting the same window that said I would have to do this or that to get myself back in. Huh? The problem was theirs, so if they fixed their problem, I should simply be able to log in again. Not so.

I see other people on Google searching for ways to get themselves back in. None of us have any idea why we are blocked. About myself, I am mostly quiet, working diligently. I help writers/artists/others any chance I can handle. I don’t Share questionable posts. In fact all my own posts are about writing and art. Once in a while I post pictures of squirrels, birds, and deer in the back yard. I have not offended anyone that I know of. This problem is one reason I opened another website. I need places to promote my writing as well as to promote this website and all of you who have shared yourselves and your books through Interviews and Excerpts.

Speaking of which, I would love to interview more writers, editors, cover artists, screenwriters – just anyone in the writing arena. That’s for both Interviews and Book Exceprts. Now that I am back on my feet after a long illness, for those who’ve so graciously shared yourselves and books in Interviews and Excerpts, I will be promoting you again on X (Twitter) where I have a great many followers.
